Consolidated annual audits - Co-ordination is key

Consolidated annual audits are complex processes and are a special challenge for a firm of accountants. The most important aspect here is the perfect and international co-ordination of the different auditors. Every step here has to be co-ordinated and integrated both technically and in accordance with a time schedule.

We have therefore standardised and automated our processes in such a way that we can proceed efficiently in the interest of our clients, as well as satisfy the highest standards for quality at the same time!

In practise, this means: we use a customised questionnaire to acquire a great deal of information from our clients on all aspects of the audit, to help us analyse the results of the audit and reveal any weaknesses in the internal control system and in the annual financial statements. We therefore work with a uniform quality standard for the audits of all of the companies consolidated within the group – in a structured and efficient way. 

Moreover, we also work as annual auditors for companies whose parent companies are registered abroad. “Fast Close” and “Hard Close” are part of our everyday business, i.e. our clients can already present up-to-date and audited annual financial statement figures soon after the financial year has ended.

 

We also successfully take part in the system for quality control which is a prerequisite for statutory audits (certification) and we are therefore registered as auditor in the professional register of German Chamber auf Auditors according to § 38 Nr. 2f WPO (German Public Accountants Act).
